FRIENDS DOING BUSINESS
Kent Breakfast Club is the oldest and only truly local networking group in Kent. Started in 1993 at Mom's Restaurant, a cozy cafe in Downtown Kent, nine local business persons serving the Kent Community, decided to get together and create a group based on the quality of the referral, not the quantity.

"Thank You" was, and still is, the theme; customers were happy, respect was created by the referrals passed to others, and clients created in this KCB culture were A-list clients for the referee, the referrer and future referrals to others in the group. We enhance this culture through the quality of our membership, easy-to-use rosters and our weekly routine of thanking each other.

JUST A LITTLE DIFFERENT
Our meetings are designed a little different than other networking groups. We attend to the usual organizational business: committee reports, action items completed, new business addressed, 30 second commercials given. And then, one of our members gives a 15 minute presentation to the assembled group. Each week presents another opportunity to ask questions and get answers from our resident industry experts.

Some networking groups demand specific referral commitments from their members, however the Kent Breakfast Club prefers a public "Thank You" for each quality referral. We believe this creates an open atmosphere of cooperation among our members; friends helping friends succeed.
